This journey kicked off in 1999, fueled by a passion for electronics. Josh, affectionately known as "Pun," launched his car audio career with the grand opening of a new Best Buy store in Jackson, MI, as an installer. A few years down the line, he transferred, grand opening a Best Buy in Battle Creek and was promoted to a Top Gun position, helping manage multiple install bays across Mid-Michigan. With 14 years spent here mastering the art of 12V electronics, he eventually made the leap to a local custom shop, installing at three of their locations.

In 2019, an opportunity emerged to rent a small single car bay in Albion. Starting with a few hundred bucks, knowledge and a drive to create something a step above, Puns Customs was born! We quickly outgrew that first location and moved to our current location at 942 Austin Ave in Albion.

Our goal at Puns Customs is to provide exceptional customer service, top notch installation and proudly showcase brands we believe in.
